We, Magnus born in October 1967, and Maria, born in February 1968, live in Perth, Australia, where we just moved from a village called Klagshamn in southern Sweden. Klagshamn is located just south of Malmö, Swedens 3rd largest city.

Three boys have made the family complete... Julian was born in December 2000, Nicholas in August 2002 and Simon on 9 December 2006.

For a couple of years we've been planning to move to Australia. The process of applying is long and complicated. See the link on the left for details. The plan for moving was more or less a five year one. One year to process the application, then a visit to Australia to activate the visa. Then look for the right moment, plan the move and then get on our way. This last part happened in November. Our house was sold, the movers filled a container with our things and then we were on our way to Perth, arriving November 5 2005. Our diary show what happened to us there for the first year or so. Now, as we are more settled, less news are published as the novelty of being here has disappeared.
